Spumante Moscato Valdo stems from the experience and sparkling tradition of Valdo to celebrate an important Italian regional vine. Moscato is an ancient vine that was cultivated on both the Greek and the Italian peninsulas. The name comes from the term Muscum (Musk), whose characteristic aroma can be found in this grape.
Today it is cultivated in several Italian regions and has become particularly popular. These grapes lend themselves very well to both dry and sparkling wines, and Valdo wanted to make a wine with a contemporary and elegant flavour.High in residual sugar, this wine is particularly suitable as a pairing with dessert.
Colour: Pale straw yellow with tones of green.
Bouquet: Characteristic floral scent of Broom and Acacia with a hint of Balsamic and citrus coming through.
Taste: A fresh flavour, with good structure; embodies this wine. Excellent minerality with a satisfying texture to finish it off.
Food Pairing: Excellent at the end of the meal, with dry pastries or even ice-cream! This wine goes well with most fruit based deserts, and pairs well with a cheese board too.
